Edward B. Claxton III was born and raised in Dublin, Georgia. He
received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Georgia in 1979. He was graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, in 1982. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1982 and to the State Bar of South Carolina in 1996. Mr. Claxton has been admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia, the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for South Carolina, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Bo is a member of the Dublin Circuit Bar Association, serving as its Secretary/Treasurer in 1985-1986, its Vice-President in 1986-1987, and as its President in 1987-1988. He has been a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He continues to be a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives.
Bo's primary practice areas are in Bankruptcy, Social Security Disability, Real Estate, Personal Injury, Probate and Civil Litigation.
Being active in the community is an important as part of his practice oflaw. He is a member of First Baptist Church, the Dublin Rotary Club (serving on the Board of Directors for 1991-1992, 1993-1994, 1998-1999, and 2014-2015 and will serve as President in 2015-2016). Bo began his general practice of law in 1982 with the firm of Jones, Jones, and Hilburn in Dublin. The firm later became Jones, Jones, Hilburn and Claxton. In 2000 the firm dissolved and Bo began practice as a solo practitioner. He now focuses his attention on representing bankruptcy clients and those who have filed for Social Security Disability Benefits.
Lisa A. Dibble is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida. Lisa has been married to her high school sweetheart, Seith, since 1985 and feels very blessed. She and Seith have two children together that they are very proud of.
She attended Florida State University in Boca Raton, Florida where she obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 1993. She relocated to Danville, Georgia
Lisa has worked in the legal field since 1989 as a Litigation Paralegal. Her duties as a litigation paralegal mostly focused on trial work, assisting attorneys in Federal and State Trial and Appellate Courts.
Lisa joined the firm in May, 2007. Her responsibilities are two-fold. She is responsible for overseeing office operations and bookkeeping, as well as responsibilities as a paralegal. As a paralegal, she performs all tasks related to the management of cases in a general civil litigation practice, bankruptcy, foreclosures, estate planning, and business organization.
Karen A. Schuldt joined Claxton Law Firm in December 2007 as a legal assistant to handle claims for Social Security Disability benefits. Prior to joining Claxton Law Firm, Karen has over 27 years of experience working for major corporations throughout the country.
Her firm dedication to helping Georgians obtain their Social Security Disability benefits is something that really stands out about Karen. When Karen is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her 2 sons and 3 dogs.
